Описание к видео Downingia (at the Jepson Prairie Preserve)

The Jepson Prairie Preserve is one of the best remaining examples of claypan vernal pools in California. We visited in 2019 and found four species of Downingia. What a special place to see rare plants!

Special thanks to Jim Andre, Gerald and Buff Corsi, Jeff Greenhouse, George Hartwell, Kate Mawsdley, Keir Morse, Charlie Russell, Jake Ruygt, and Carol Witham.
Drone footage provided by Rebecca Wang, Vollmar Natural Lands Consulting. The Jepson Prairie Preserve is owned by the Solano Land Trust ( https://solanolandtrust.org/protected.... Research and educational use is administered through the UC Natural Reserve System.
