Russian media company CTC Media went public on June 1, 2006 at a price of US$14 per share. Alexander Rodnyansky, the CEO of CTC Media rang the closing bell. Under his leadership, CTC Media became the biggest independent publicly traded media conglomerate in Russia, with five channels in three countries and a market capitalization of more than $4 billion.
