Former President Donald Trump called his legal woes “election interference” and blamed President Biden for charges against him in remarks to reporters in New York City. His comments came after New York Judge Juan Merchan set an April 15, 2024 date to start the former president’s criminal trial related to payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
