9. Migaloo The White Whale
It's not just land animals that need protecting when it comes to Albinism, there are even Albino whales out there in the world like Migaloo who are also in need of help. Migaloo is a rare white humpback whale that has attracted many to the coasts and waters of Australia, and they actually wound up hurting the whale in the process because they got too close with their boats.

8. Kenny The Tiger
While technically not a victim of Albinism, this particular case needs to be discussed because it involves an animal who had its own genetic mutation forced upon it and it was turned white as a result.
Sometimes mutations affect animals in ways you'd never expect. One such example is with a tiger named Kenny.

7. White Giraffes
When you look at this pair of giraffes, a thought might come to your mind, "These are Albino Giraffes". But technically, they are not. They are what we call Leucistic animals. What's the different between Albino and Leucistic animals? As noted, Albinos are ones who have a lack of melanin in their bodies, and thus aren't able to form colors.

There once was a gorilla known as Copito De Nieve. That name translates to "snowflake", and it's a fairly accurate translation, especially since this is the first ever Albino Gorilla that has been discovered. Thus making "Snowflake" one of a kind.
Snowflake was shown off at the Barcelona zoo, and was only there because hunters the family belonging to Snowflake, only sparing him because of his albino nature, which is very valuable on the market.

5. Claude The Alligator
When it comes to Albino animals, one of the things that often haunts their lives is a shortened life expectancy, but there are exceptions to this rule, and one of them is Claude the Alligator. Because at the time of this posting, he is still very much alive at the age of 24. You'll find him residing in "the swamp" in the California Academy of Sciences.

Also called the “spirit bear,” the Kermode bear is basically a rare white black bear. This bear is not actually albino, It’s a white subspecies of the North American black bear and is only found in the Great Bear Rainforest in Canada and occupies 25,000 square miles altogether.
