When Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone catapulted into theatres in 2001, no one could have imagined how big the franchise would get. Sure, the books were popular, so it was going to be a big deal, but did 11-year-old Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint know how it was going to change their lives? It’s unlikely the Harry Potter cast realized just how big the J.K Rowling book franchise would become.
Fast forward almost 20 years later, and the movies are still reaching new audiences every day. Each installment is a masterpiece, but it wasn’t all plain sailing. With great moviemaking comes great responsibility. The set wasn’t a playground for the cast, but a place to be respected, with rules that always had to be adhered to.
