Master the Basics of Avatar Legends - A Roleplaying Game Tutorial

Avatar Legends The Roleplaying Game is a very different kind of tabletop roleplaying game for me so it has been a fun experience learning the ins and outs of the 'Powered by the Apocalypse' game engine that it utilises.

In this video I explain the SEVEN basic moves that all characters get to play around with; Assess a situation, guide and comfort, intimidate, plead, push your luck, rely on your skills and training, and trick. All of these basic moves require a dice roll using Avatar's rolling mechanic of 2d6 + required Stat bonus + any other modifiers. It's a simple system but very effective and as a general rule a total roll + bonuses score of 7-9 is a hit or a weak hit. A 10+ is a strong hit which carries additional perks for succeeding.
