In this Nigerian movie, the kingdom of Acharaike, Igbonku the god of the wind and Oye the goddess of the sea, were at war with each other, over who should take control of the land. As a result, a plaque broke out, killing many people. The sea goddess promised the people to rid their land of the plaque and restore peace to the land again, if only they could adopt her as their diety. Just as the people were acceeding to her request, the missionaries arrived.
