Gruesome crimes in rural communities and farms are on the rise across the country while South African Police Service (SAPS) capacity remains wholly inadequate. This week we discuss how measures such as the DA Court Watching Brief Units keep a close eye on investigations to ensure that justice is served; and how the DA would tackle rural safety in national government.

On this episode of The Inside Track, DA National Spokesperson, Siviwe Gwarube, is joined by DA Shadow Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Annette Steyn; Head of the DA’s Court Watching Briefs Unit, Dr Ivan Meyer; Member of the KZN Provincial Parliament, Chris Pappas; and DA Shadow Minister of Police, Andrew Whitfield.
