Election lawyer: Either 2nd placer or sitting VP can replace Marcos Jr. if SC rules against him |ANC

Dateline Philippines: Philippine election lawyer Atty. Emil Marañon III believes the Supreme Court cannot stop Congress from canvassing the votes from the presidential polls. But Marañon says it can suspend the proclamation of the winner should it rule to disqualify presidential frontrunner Bongbong Marcos or declare him ineligible for the post. Marañon adds the high court should work to resolve this matter as soon as possible for the sake of the country's stability.
