Faial is one of the most underated island in the Azores. People often only stay 1-2 days. However, it is fully of beauty and hidden secrets. The history f the island was also central in the history of the Azores, as Horta, the capital is the last port ships stop by to cross the Atlantic.

I tried to show both the beautiful nature of the island and its tragic history.
