In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov will share with you one of the most aggressive chess openings for White, the Blackmar–Diemer Gambit, which happens after the opening moves 1.d4 d5 2.e4.

In particular, you will learn about the Halosar Trap which happens after the following moves: 1.d4 d5 2.e4 dxe4 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.f3 exf3 5.Qf3. This variation is so aggressive that Black can get checkmate in just about 10 moves.
