Synopsis:
Chakkar is a murder mystery with a hint of comedy. The comic element in the film is situational and not over the top. Kabeer and Mehreen are a seemingly very happily married couple belonging to the middle class and living in an apartment complex. Kabeer has a decent office job and Mehreen is a typical housewife. Zara is Mehreen’s twin sister who is a leading film actress. Zara hurts herself during a shoot and convinces Mehreen to temporarily take her place while keeping this swapping hidden from Kabeer. However Mehreen is murdered on set and this is where the murder mystery begins. The story is full of suspense and interesting twists and turns
