Disclaimer: This song was inspired by the trouble I had (and still sometimes have) with speaking certain words. My stutter is fortunately very mild; my problem letters being primarily the harsh "B"s and "D"s. However, for this song, I decided to focus on the letter "S"; I did this for two reasons: 1) I think the sound of "S" stands out the most in speech, and is much more pleasing to the ear than the popping sounds of "B"s and "D"s. And 2) I was EXTREMELY inspired by George Watsky's spoken word poem: "S for Lisp". Please check it out if you haven't already...

The purpose of this song is to bring awareness to the impediment, and encourage others to embrace/overcome whatever quirk they may also have.
