2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S (585hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (60FPS)

This week I can present to you the full DRIVE & SOUND test with the recently revealed 2015 / 2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe delivering 585 hp and 760 Nm of torque through the well known 7-speed AMG SpeedShift. The design of course is a reason for debates, but as I mentioned earlier it really becomes less "frightening" if you are around the car for a couple of days. The overall looks are brutal all the way through, especially with those black 22 inch!!! wheels and 325 tires in the back;) The ride comfort is superb, everything from comfort to race is possible. In a chat with Matthias Malmedie we also agreed on the fact that the high-speed stability really is something that sets this car apart from others....awesome! When watching the acceleration you really need to remember that this particular SUV weighs 2.350 kg and has a huge surface to put against the wind. So 25 sec. to 250 km/h really is amazing. Will a BMW X6M be faster? I'm honestly not sure and maybe I will be able to find out later this year! One other great thing is the fitted AMG Performance exhaust.
