Our first open cut mine from scratch with our old dozer. I fixed her up (rebuilt Hydaulic rams and miner repairs) then it was up to me to self learn how to start, operate and do a safe open cut opal mine with no formal training. Got chucked in the deep in which is the best way to learn any new skills. Glad to say we did it and found some beautiful opal which is featured on outback opal hunters
