The office of the Public Protector has acknowledged receipt of President Cyril Ramaphosa's written answers regarding the Phala Phala farm saga.
Earlier, the President's spokesperson had confirmed that Ramaphosa had sent his response to the 31 questions. The chapter nine institution had also threatened to subpoena him, which Presidential Spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya, says was an unnecessary to attempt to force a response. He added that the President was always willing to comply, but had been delayed by his busy schedule.
