► 24 hours after that massive U-turn on tax, Liz Truss and her chancellor, Kwasi Kwarteng, were under more pressure today, this time over possible cuts to benefits.

Andy Bell spoke to the Prime Minister today and started by asking her if she would apologise to people who have lost their mortgage deals, after economic backlash to the mini-budget.
