Janet Ang speaks in debate on repealing Section 377A

NMP Janet Ang spoke in Parliament on Tuesday (Nov 29) on repealing Section 377A, the law criminalising gay sex in Singapore. The repeal is being discussed along with another Bill to protect the definition of marriage from legal challenges. She said after listening to many people, including her daughters, repealing Section 377A is the right thing to do and doing so will send a statement to the LGBT community that they are safe being who they are.
