Flood Situation in Sylhet, Bangladesh || Fund Raise for Flood Victim || Supported by AN Express

As-Salamu Alaykum. As you have all witness the Devastating Flood in Bangladesh, The All-Mighty
Allah has given me the ability to visit the most affected remote area in Sunamgoinj and Sylhet
District and help some people within my personal ability. After visiting some of the places I felt it is
my moral duty to share with you and try to have the Victims more widely with your help. Please see
some of the Video Clips I have taken as attached.
When I travel from Sylhet to Sunamgoing, Dowara Bazar in a remote area, I travel by CNG, then by
Engine Boat and then a local small Boat to visit individual village and houses to talk to the Victims.
On my way, I have witnessed some good brother from many parts of Bangladesh came to help with
Food pack contain Chira and Muri and some with one Kilo of Rice, some providing cooked food to
people who are near by the main road and same people getting many times from different person or
organisation. Unfortunately, they did not go to the remote area, they did not plan ahead and they
did not do any assessment of the situation where people have gone to shelter in local Madrasha,
Mosque, School and Shelters centre, but they are not getting the enough necessary food and
Drinking Water.
I have done the basic assessment and spoken to the local community leaders and effected Victims
and I asked them what they need immediately. They told me they have not eaten proper food for
many days. They need Food Pack contain few days’ worth of Rice, Lentil (Dal), Onion, Potato, Salt.
Also, to repair their house with a set of Tin shelter as they are getting attacked by Snake and other
animals and cold at night. Also, to repair/build the local Mosque to pray so that All-Mightily Allah
forgive them from this punishment.
Please help them generously with as much as you can. I promised you all we will upload all the
documents where we spent the money and take video documentary of each place we go to help in
Sylhet and Sunamgonj and upload for your review.
