Hon'ble Governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatreya's visit at Gurugram center

Hon'ble Governor of Haryana, Sh. Bandaru Dattatreya visited the Welfare Centre for Persons with Speech and Hearing Impairment, Gurugram, Haryana on 3rd September 2021.

Haryana Welfare Society for Persons with Hearing & Speech Impairment (HWSPSHI) was established in the year 1971 from Gurugram center (23rd Sep, 1971) with a view to providing education, vocational training, counseling, guidance, and remedial services to deaf children and facilitate their all round development, self-reliance and rehabilitation. The Society has set up eight Welfare Centres at Gurgaon, Hisar, Sirsa, Karnal, Sonepat, Nagina(Mewat), Raipur Rani and Panchkula.

The organisation completes its golden jubilee on 23rd September 2021.

Sign Library (Digital Sign Language Lab Project) is an initiative by Haryana Welfare Society for Persons with Speech and Hearing Impairment. (http://www.hwspshi.org) to make educational content accessible in Indian Sign Language(ISL) for Deaf learners.
