Today’s case takes us to a series of gruesome murders that were committed over a period of just one year. We’re not talking 2 or 3 murders. Gary is a city in Indiana that was known for its industrial activity in the past. Being a steel hub back in the day, the city saw rapid growth with a diverse population but this quickly changed in the 1960s because of the growing overseas competition in the steel industry. Today, Gary’s population stands at only 69,000 and the place isn’t known for much except the endless rows of abandoned houses and murders. It earned a not-so-brag-worthy name, the “murder capital” of America in the early 90s.

Why is this information relevant to today’s case? We’re about to find out because this is the place where everything was about to go horribly wrong.
