TODAY'S GOSPEL: John 14:23-29

The Gospel this Sunday reminds us about the two gifts that Christ promised: First, the gift of the spirit. The spirit is always available to guide us, to remind us of everything that Christ taught us, and to deepen our relationship with Him. And second, the gift of peace. Peace that comes from Christ is a peace that is not without fear, but peace despite the pain and suffering. As Christ said: “Do not let your hearts be troubled.” For He will come again. Today, let us pray that we may embrace these gifts in our everyday lives.
