Former secretary of state Mike Pompeo says Joe Biden’s comments today on Taiwan were “deeply confusing” and he’s not sure the president “understands” his government’s policies.

“I heard President Biden’s comments today and it was deeply confusing,” he said.

“I could not tell you what the Biden administration’s policies is with respect to Taiwan today. I don’t think anybody can.

“I am not even sure President Biden understands what it was he said today.”
