2021 GMC Yukon AT4 First Look - Adaptive Suspension in Action!

Got the chance to dig around in the first 2021 GMC Yukon AT4 off the truck. This is a cool and unique addition to the lineup. This one is the first XL version that I’ve seen up close also.

The AT4 package includes some very cool features such as an electronic limited slip differential in lieu of a traditional rear locker, adjustable and adaptive air ride suspension, black painted trim, skid plates, and unique front and rear bumper providing an improved approach angle.

The suspension can be raised an additional 2" when the transfer case is in 4 Lo, and also lowered 2" from the standard ride height as a sort of exit level. This means that the Yukon AT4 has 4" of adjustable suspension range. This coupled with the eLSD means that this beast can actually hold it's own on off-road trails (that it fits on). The computer and clutches can definitely do a better job of maintaining traction and selectively applying torque to non-slipping wheels better then me.
