Claire (Jennifer Lopez from Hustlers and Second Act) wakes up at Noah’s (Ryan Guzman from Step Up and 9-1-1) home and instantly regrets what they did together. She tries to explain to Noah that she’s leaving and it was only a moment of vulnerability, but he doesn’t listen and punches a wall, making his hands bleed. She tries to reconcile with him by cleaning his hands, but he demands her to leave his house.

What’s the movie “The Boy Next Door” about?
When a handsome, charming teenager named Noah (Ryan Guzman from Step Up and 9-1-1) moves in next door, newly separated high-school teacher Claire Peterson (Jennifer Lopez from Hustlers and Second Act) encourages his friendship and engages in a little bit of harmless, or so she thinks, flirtation. Although Noah spends much of the time hanging out with Claire's son, the teen's attraction to her is palpable. One night, Claire gives in to temptation and lets Noah seduce her, but when she tries to end the relationship, he turns violent.
