The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) issued a tsunami warning for the country's #Pacific coast at midnight on Saturday, urging residents to evacuate from seaside areas, following a massive underwater volcanic #eruption near the South Pacific island country of #Tonga. The U.S. also warned of strong currents and waves, and coastal flooding.
