सुबह का वक्त था …..helios flight 522 ,Cyprus के Larnaca International Airport से greece के Athens International Airport जाने के लिये तैयार थी …...सुबह के करीब 9 बजकर 7 मिनट पर फ्लाइट ने उड़ान भरी ……उस समय इसमें 115 पैसेंजर और 6 क्रू मेंबर समेत 121 लोग सवार थे …………..और इसे उड़ा रहे थे …….58 वर्षीय German contract based Pilot ,Hans-Jurgen Merten …….जिन्हे कुल 16900 flight hours का अनुभव था ……...वही इनके को पायलट के तौर पर मौजूद थे ,51 वर्षीय Pampos Charalambous …….जिन्हे कुल 7,549 का अनुभव था ……..
वंही Flight attendant, के तौर पर Andreas Prodromou कमाल संभाल रहे थे

उड़ान भरने के 5 मिनट बाद …...यानी 9 बजकर 12 मिनट पर प्लेन 12,040 feet की ऊंचाई पर पहुंच गया ……..और इस ऊंचाई पर पहुंचने के बाद ,अचानक ही प्लेन में एक अलार्म बजने लगता है ……..जब इस अलार्म की जांच की गई तो पता चला ….कि ये take-off configuration warning alarm था ……..जिसे देखने के बाद दोनों पायलट्स हैरान हो गए ……..और वो इसलिए क्योंकि take-off configuration warning alarm तब बजता है ……...जब प्लेन ग्राउंड पर होता है …...और उड़ान भरने के लिए तैयार नहीं होता …….ऐसे में 12000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर इस अलार्म के बजने का मतलब दोनों pilots को समझ ही नहीं आ रहा था …….स्थिति की गंभीरता को भांपते हुए उन्होंने Atc यानी Air traffic control से संपर्क साधना ही उचित समझा ……..फिर उन्होंने तुरन्त Atc से संपर्क कर उन्हें बताया …….कि उनके विमान का Take off configuration warning alarm बज रहा है

It was morning…..helios flight 522 was ready to go from Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus to Athens International Airport in Greece……At around 9:7 am the flight took off At that time 121 people including 115 passengers and 6 crew members were on board…………..and were flying it …….58 year old German contract based pilot, Hans-Jurgen Merten …….who had a total of 16900 flight. Hours of experience was ……… He was present as his co-pilot, 51 year old Pampos Charalambous ……. who had total experience of 7,549 ……..
Andreas Prodromou was handling Kamal as the same flight attendant.

After 5 minutes of take-off, the plane reached an altitude of 12,040 feet at 9.12 o'clock ……..and after reaching this altitude, suddenly an alarm starts sounding in the plane……..when When this alarm was checked, it was found that it was a take-off configuration warning alarm……..after seeing which both the pilots were surprised……..and that is because the take-off configuration warning alarm sounds when ………when the plane is on the ground……and is not ready to take off…….So the sounding of this alarm at an altitude of 12000 feet meant that both the pilots could not understand…… Sensing the seriousness of the situation, he thought it appropriate to contact ATC i.e. Air traffic control……..Then he immediately contacted ATC and told them…….that his aircraft was sounding a Take off configuration warning alarm.
