The inspiration behind this video:

Eternals 2 will face a couple of problems, mostly linked to the newest member of the team, Starfox/Eros (Harry Styles), but these could be avoided by making him a villain. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 introduced a new superhero team in Chloé Zhao’s Eternals, who turned out to be the oldest heroes in this connected universe. The Eternals are a group of synthetic beings created by the Celestial Arishem the Judge with the purpose of preparing planets for the birth of new Celestials, meaning that the Eternals are constantly going through memory wipes in order for them to be ready for new missions.

However, Arishem’s plan failed when the leader of the Eternals, Ajak (Salma Hayek), was killed by fellow Eternal Ikaris (Richard Madden) and Sersi (Gemma Chan) took her place. Sersi learned the truth about the Eternals’ mission on Earth and along with most of the team set out to stop the Emergence, which was the birth of the Celestial Tiamut from the center of Earth. The Eternals successfully stopped the end of the world, and by the end of the movie, Sersi, Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry), and Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) stayed on Earth but were abducted by Arishem to judge their actions and decide if Earth was worth saving. Meanwhile, Thena (Angelina Jolie), Druig (Barry Keoghan), and Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) left on the Domo and were intercepted by Eros, a fellow Eternal who claimed to know where the rest are. This set up Eros to return in the still unconfirmed Eternals 2, which is tricky given his powers and comic book history, but a solution to it would be turning him into a villain.
