World's WORST Fuel Pump Swap... Don't Buy An OLD JAGUAR

I bought a 1999 Jaguar XJ8 with only 75k miles on kit for $1,000. After doing some troubleshooting I found the fuel system was completely dry. The fuel pump didn’t respond when I tried to power it directly so I started trying to remove the fuel tank by the book. The quick disconnects on the bottom of the fuel tank sit above the differential and are installed before the subframe and diff at the factory. After spending nearly 8 hours trying to remove them I gave up and pulled the tank the way the Jag guys recommend… cutting up the package shelf and removing the pump through the top.
