How to Catch BIG RIVER ROACH

In this video I try to share my thoughts on how to catch big river roach. I’m not a huge expert, but I fished for them quite intensely through the winter just gone and I feel like I did pick up a few tricks! We move around the river, mainly trotting with the centrepin and it became quite a cool little adventure!

The tackle I’m using includes the Korum Glide, JW Young and Sons Trudex 3 centreping, Korum Speci Sticks and Fineliner floats. On some of the sessions I’m joined by Dan, before he throws a curve ball by sneaking off and catching some monsters from another venue without me!! Outrageous!

Winter can be tough and the conditions were sometimes FREEZING, but we enjoyed some incredible fishing, some stunning roach and lots of laughs! Thanks for checking out the video.
