Beatrice Forbes | The Countess of Granard

Beatrice Forbes, also known as Beatrice Mills or Beatrice Mills Forbes, was an American socialite who became the Countess of Granard through her marriage to Bernard Forbes, the 8th Earl of Granard. She was born in 1883 in New York City to a wealthy family. Beatrice was involved in philanthropy, particularly supporting the Red Cross and hospitals. She had a passion for theater and was an active member of high society. After her husband's death in 1948, she spent her later years in the United States. Beatrice passed away in 1970 in Palm Beach, Florida.
