From the WBIR Vault (June 28, 2016): Legendary University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball coach Pat Summitt passed away from early-onset Alzheimer’s disease on June 28, 2016. As head coach at the University of Tennessee from 1974 to 2012, Summitt won eight NCAA championships. Tennessee won national titles in 1987, 1989, 1991, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2007 and 2008. https://bit.ly/3x5Wto4
