Verdigris Patina TissueBox Re-Design UpCycling | DIY Steampunk Gothic Art & Decor

This Video shows step by step how I re-designed this tissue box into a splendid and flamboyant steampunk-ish piece of home accessories. From the design and making it matches some of my other projects (see previous videos for more details).

After deciding on a design for all sides of the box, I cased the ca. 65 ornaments from resin.
I then painted the box after slightly roughening it with sandpaper. I added 6 coats of paint:

(1) rather dark and patchy basis of dark teal
(2) highlights with light turquoise color from the same palette
(3) black antique wax, especially rubbing it in the wholes
(4) agin highlights with light tuqruoise paint
(5) highlights with metallic copper acrylic color
(6) clear antique wax
