The third of five short films we're releasing this year as part of our special exhibit: "Black Americans, Civil Rights, and the Roosevelts."

The New Deal produced an extraordinary range of new legislation to rescue the country from the Great Depression. To pass these new programs, FDR had to balance varying interests that often resulted in inequitable outcomes along racial lines. This installment of Seeds of Change examines these divides.
