41 - A Week of Rain & Shine: Done With Cleaning The Dump Site! 🌦️🌞🌱

Last week, we were all ill, but after resting inside for a few days, we were itching to get outside, breathe in the fresh air, and tackle some outdoor tasks. With the start of a new week, we’re still feeling under the weather, but it’s so nice to be outside, rain or shine! As spring progresses, our garden looks more and more luscious, and our potatoes are coming up. The birds are singing their lovely tunes, and all of this just draws us outdoors. I finally started planting onions between rain showers. Besides some other garden maintenance and removing overgrown netting, we’ve given a beautiful black satin blackberry bush some much-needed support after rain and wind blew it down. We had another snake encounter, just like last summer! A few days into this week, my parents visited and helped us with Odin, allowing us to finally finish cleaning up that junk spot we’ve spent weeks on. Now we can seed it with grass and flowers! Yay! During my parents' stay, we also completed the fencing around the vegetable garden, which looks great. With the addition of a wooden gate, it’ll soon be more accessible!
