Fuel Pump and Sender Unit - Volkswagen Golf Mk5

How to remove and replace the fuel pump and sender unit on a 2004 to 2007 Volkswagen Golf Mk5 with the 1.4 litre petrol engine. The part number is 1K0919051M. Working with fuel or fuel components can be extremely hazardous so please take precautions by wearing proper protective gear and having an appropriate fire extinguisher at the ready.
