This is a career defining moment for Steve Paul (he, him), 18 years after my first release, releasing my debut collaborative charity album for mental health charity Local Minds, part of MIND, whose services I have used to support me in challenging times. The first part of an epic 3 part album to be released over 2 years.

The album came together inspired by the concept of three part album Royksopp - Profound Mysteries, where the idea to incorporate synths came from, with a spark to be as original as possible and at times influenced by Olafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Jon Hopkins - "Music For Psychedelic Therapy" and Hans Zimmer’s Interstellar. Eirlys and Sigur Ros influences also came through. After my starseed awakening, I splurged on sound healing instruments, influencing the atmosphere.

In the final stages of producing the album, I felt cocooned in my lounge studio, affected by my mental health, desiring to escape from the noise of the city outside which was triggering intense anxiety, into a world of dream-like creation, with the intention to create a healing, meditative masterpiece for myself and to send light and love to as many people as I could reach.

I have a paradox in my mind of not wanting to be famous and recognized on the street, yet wanting the whole world to be healed and uplifted by my music. (But yet aware that one of the best promotion ways to connect is for people to see one’s face). Life has confusing opposite dualities

When I was playing my instruments and producing, I would call in divine powers, star beings and angels to assist me, with crystals around me, and locked in a deep, meditative flow state.
​
The album follows the collaboration "Everything Is Going To Infinity", a remix of "100 Voices - Is Everything Going To Be OK?", a charity project available on my website I was so excited about from 2016 (    • 100 Voices / Steve Paul - Is Everythi...   ) and "I Now Remember Infinite Stars", a remix of "As I Don't Remember The World" with ​⁠@xavierkeys2708 which was an intricate and beautiful partnership where Xavier played and composed the piano and sampled strings started in my studio, and finished remotely during Covid, where the name was born from (    • Steve Paul & Xavier Keys - As I Don't...   ) (I Now Remember Infinite Stars is the next phase of that journey). The track "We Flow Through Infinite Dreams (Space Journey)" is a meditation journey through space spoken by Steve, and together with Ben Robins and Maris Rei (Space Hippies), came from deep spiritual improvised flow jams with barely any editing. The first single was the hugely praised "Show Me Your Infinite Visions". We Sing Your Infinite Visions is a chilled remix where i asked my favourite singers i met online, light language and harp player Carolin Nobles and the magical Kaya Rose Green to send me vocals.

Featuring guest appearances from 100 Voices, (including Beth Rowley, Daisy Chute and Kerry Fleur), Carolin Nobles, Kaya Rose Green, Space Hippies (Maris Rei and Ben Robins) and mastered by Philip Marsden.
