After struggling throughout the early 1970's the Philadelphia Eagles finally found themselves as a Super Bowl contender during the 1980 season. The only thing between them and a trip to the Super Bowl was the division rival Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles would not be denied, as the dominated the contest winning it by a 20-7 final score.
