Addressing a public meeting in Mumbai, Maharashtra, PM Modi said, “Some people say that what Modi claims is impossible. The Ram Temple also seemed impossible. The removal of Article 370 also seemed impossible. But today, these dreams have come true before our eyes. Our cities like Mumbai used to tremble from serial bomb blasts and terrorist attacks. Now, all that has stopped. Removing triple talaq also seemed impossible. Giving 33 % reservation to women also seemed impossible. Has it happened or not? Congress kept saying for 60 years that they would remove poverty. Reducing poverty seemed impossible to everyone. Modi has shown that by lifting 250 million people out of poverty in just 10 years, what seemed impossible has become possible.”
