Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter (in standard tuning) - Guitar lesson / tutorial / cover with tab

Learn how to play Gimme Shelter, by The Rolling Stones, from the 1969 album Let It Bleed.
It's a great song, I love it! But I think most people don't play it because of the tuning. So let's try to play it in standard tuning!

The original recording has two guitars. One guitar is in open E tuning, playing the main riff and rhythm, and the other guitar is in standard tuning, playing the solos.
But here in this video I’m trying to play it as in an one-guitar band, doing both rhythm and lead parts in standard tuning.

An important aspect to get the sound is the tremolo effect. I’m using it almost in the whole song. Only in the solo I’m not using the tremolo.
For the rhythm part the guitar is clean, with tremolo and reverb. For the solo the guitar has a little overdrive, delay and reverb.
