TRIP REPORT | First Time on THAI A350! | Stockholm to Bangkok | THAI AIRWAYS A350

Thai Airways Trip Report flying from Stockholm to Bangkok in one of the Thai Airbus A350-900 on a lovely day and night all across Europe and Asia.

A comfortable 11+ hours flight from Stockholm to Bangkok on the amazing Thai A350. The flight was fully booked, but we still managed to have a nice trip thanks to the comfortable Thai Airways seats and acceptable legroom.

We took off from Stockholm towards the Northeast. Shortly after being airborne, we made a 90° turn to the right and started our route to Bangkok. Due to the Russian overfly ban and Ukraine airspace being completely closed, the route to Bangkok is significantly longer than what it used to be some years ago.

After a beautiful departure over the hundreds of Swedish Islands we set course to Poland. We entered it over Gdansk and crossed it until we reached the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia. We left the city of Košice on our right and, after a very short overflight of Hungary, we entered Romania, already in direct course to the Black Sea.

Over the Black Sea, we met the night and enjoyed a very nice Sunset. We then flew towards Türkiye, Iran, Pakistan, India, the Bay of Bengal, Myanmar and, finally, we reached Bangkok, where we landed just after the Sunrise.

Talking about the Thai Airways onboard service, I liked it quite a lot. It is definitely not at the level of Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad... but it's really good. The service included 2 primary services: dinner and breakfast. Both were very complete and everything was really tasty. I wish the service on European airlines would be like this one...
