FDS Deathmatchmakers Trailers - Bowser vs Dr. Eggman (Mario Bros. vs Sonic the Hedgehog)

For our 50th trailer (Not counting the Colex shill trailer), I thought I'd do a longer tribute to a more mainstream matchup. The biggest and baddest one I could think of. And since both DMM Seasons first episodes contains characters from the same series... It just perfectly fit.

“A hero is nothing without a villain to fight.” A tried and true idiom that applies to almost every artistic medium, but especially in the realm of video games. A final boss to work toward defeating pushes the protagonist - and, in turn, the player - to put their all into their gaming efforts. And there aren’t any virtual villainous virtuosos with higher recognition than these two. Game after game, their decades-long rivalry with their respective protagonists in their quest for power and control has gone far beyond simply conquering a kingdom or a zone. Planets, even galaxies have been at risk thanks to their plans, armies, and overwhelming powers. But a battle between them could risk the whole universe’s destruction. Why don’t we put that to the test?
