9. SOT NICOLE KIDMAN (English) on why she did film:
"It was either going to work or it wasn't going to work. It was like me saying okay I'm going to take this journey with you because I admire you and I believe in your belief. And Lars had a very string belief in the film working as a whole. Without sets, without props. When I was, there was a chalk dog on the floor, a sketch of the dog and I saw that and went okay. And then we did some rehearsals where I pretended to pat the dog and then off we go."

11. SOT NICOLE KIDMAN (English) on how she got on with Von Triers:
"I arrived in Sweden and the first week was tricky, our rehearsal week. Now he looks offended, but it was. It was two people getting to know each other, and I think Lars had preconceptions about me and I probably did about him. And then we went off walking in the forest and had a pretty, a heart to heart one afternoon, it was a pretty difficult few hours but we came out of it with the same...with a very pure commitment to each other."

"I would love to start a 'Free America' campaign. Because we have just had a 'Free Iraq' campaign. But you could say that I am a communist, I am not, but I would like a free America. Because I see a lot of shit in America, yes I do, from over here. I am sorry, I don't know how it comes to me, maybe it comes from journalists that are lying. I don't know about America, I am just a mirror and this is what happens. "

18. SOT NICOLE KIDMAN (English) on personal life affecting future career plans:
"The next thing I am going to do it I am going to do the Stepford Wives, because I want to do something light. But it is more just, I am on an exploration. I know though that I probably wont do this for the rest of my life. There are other things that interest me. And I think probably when I fall in love, that is when I will stop doing as much of this because I will want it settle down again. And I went through a period in my life when I wasn't able to move around, and explore as much. And so now I am living that out and that is exciting to me."

"And I would like to tell the story about Grace in 3 episodes and I would like do it with Nicole. And we had a talk about it yesterday and Nicole said to me that she wanted to do it also...Could you tell it to the people here also that you want to do it.
SOT NICOLE KIDMAN:
"Yes. I mean obviously ..."
SOT LARS VON TRIERS:
"'Yes I want to do these films with you, yes I want to be the Grace through all the three films, no matter what it will cost me'."

"He is brutal. Lars I am making the trilogy with you, you know that, we discussed that."
