Moment a seagull swallows squirrel whole

A starving seagull has become an unlikely internet star after swallowing a squirrel whole.

Footage shared online shows the bird gobbling down the unfortunate creature, which may have been eaten alive.

The squirrel’s bushy tail is seen hanging from the beak of the bird, which scooped up the rodent at the side of a road before flying off after finishing its grisly meal.

After the minute-long video was posted on TikTok, some people speculated online that the squirrel was probably already dead as it did not appear to put up much of a fight.
