The Holidays are over… Canning and Preserving Turkey on a budget!

Let’s talk about the savings-
Two Turkeys were .50 cents a pound (Roughly $10 per Turkey)
We were able to get 2 dinners and 1 lunch from the legs and wings to feed a family of 6.
We canned 8 Quarts of turkey meat which depending on what I am making I could get 16 meals out of this.
We also made about 8 quarts of Turkey bone broth!

Doing the math and not including the bone broth we spent .95 per meal and we are averaging 19/20 meals!
