11-20-2022 Here is video of two AH-1Z Vipers Helicopters departing (Liftoff 5:23) the Hollywood (Bob Hope) Burbank Airport. Thank You for Watching & Please Subscribe.
I put this video up so fast after just putting my one from last night for the pilots & crew, they are bummed out because was no footage of them doing the flyover at last nights USC vs UCLA Football Game and they couldn't find anything on YouTube. This is a big deal for these hard working U.S. Marines and they need our support and give them a big shout out.
These Helicopters are from the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369 (HMLA-369) is a United States Marine Corps helicopter squadron consisting of AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters and UH-1Y Venom utility helicopters. The squadron, also known as the "Gunfighters", is based at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California and falls under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 39 (MAG-39) and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (3rd MAW).
The Bell AH-1Z Viper is a twin-engine attack helicopter, based on the AH-1W SuperCobra, designed and produced by the American aerospace manufacturer Bell Helicopter. Being one of the latest members of the prolific Bell Huey family, it is also called "Zulu Cobra", based on the military phonetic alphabet pronunciation of its variant letter.
