Why do I feel relieved that Sumeru is over? A Genshin Retrospective!

We’ve finally reached the end of Genshin version 3, and I realised that in the midst of all the excitement for Fontaine, I also feel... relief?

Sumeru gave us exciting new gameplay to experience, stunning landscapes to explore, and fascinating secrets to discover. Many of the quests have turned out to be the most impactful and emotional in the game for me, many of the characters introduced have been instant favourites - and Nahida in particular just completely stole my heart.

So why am I feeling this way? After all that promise, why do I feel a sense of disappointment?
