Vlad argued that, being an experienced YouTuber, such a figure seems high. After calculating the potential income based on the number of views and advertising runs, Vlad and Wiley determined that Sharpe could have made around $500,000 to $1 million from the interview – much less than the reported $6 million. Vlad also revealed his frustration with Sharpe not participating in others' podcasts despite inviting many guests to his own show, suggesting that it contradicts the collaborative nature of podcasting.
