Captain Curtain-call | Royals Take Opener vs. Rangers

The Royals returned to Kauffman Stadium to open a homestand with a series against the Rangers. Brady Singer turned in a quality start, surrendering just 1 run over 6.0 innings of work with 8 strikeouts. Hunter Renfroe tied the game with his third home run of the season and the game remained tied until the 7th inning. RBI singles from Kyle Isbel, Bobby Witt Jr., and Vinnie Pasquantino gave the Royals the lead and Salvador Perez broke the game open with a no-doubt three-run homer sending The K into bedlam. John Schreiber, Angel Zerpa, and Colin Selby each tossed scoreless innings to secure the win. -----------
