This is my step-by-step guide on how to paint Death Guard.

In this video I speed paint 5 Death Guard Plague Marines using mainly Games Workshop contrast paints and AK Interactive's Streaking Grime in the Pallid Hand scheme. Its super fun and very simple to follow, so why not try yourself? It only took approximately 1.5hrs to paint a 5 man squad - not including drying time. I use an airbrush for the base cost and zenithal highlight, but this could easily be done with spray cans or by hand painting.

At the end of the video is an optional extra where I used a Black Oil Paint wash and Rust Wash to add extra weathering to the model.

The result of this technique is the Grimdark and Grimy look that goes well with Death Guard. I have used this same technique to paint Mortarion, Deathshroud and Terminators. It could easily be adapted to be used on the Death Guard vehicles too.
